The LUBEGARD Synthetic ATF Protectant enhances DEXRON III/MERCON ATF to mimic the performance of MERCON V ATF, eliminating the need for the latter. It prevents overheating, reducing elevated operating temperatures by up to 40 degrees Fahrenheit, and dramatically reduces friction while tightening the shift cycle without compromising the friction modification at lockup.

The product eliminates transmission fluid foaming and oxidation, optimizing total transmission performance and extending fluid life. It also eliminates clutch chatter and torque converter shudder, as well as objectionable noises during shifts, while softening and modifying harsh shifts.

Furthermore, the LUBEGARD Synthetic ATF Protectant keeps valves and governors free, freeing stuck valves in valve bodies, and offers superior seal compatibility and conditioning. It is the only protectant that increases the fluid's ability to transfer heat.
