Dr. Tranny Kooler Kleen Flush Cleaner with Universal Tip is the only mineral-based transmission line flush used and approved by multiple car manufacturers and the largest transmission rebuilders. It does not contain any water in its formulation, unlike caustic water-based flushes that leave behind a film of detergents, dispersants, water, and soapy residue. This residue can become part of the new ATF and lead to shudder and damage to clutch plates when the transmission is re-installed.

Lubegard Kooler Kleen ensures that the new ATF remains free of water and that the transmission is installed to last. In addition to being a transmission line flush cleaner, it also serves as a wire harness cleaner and a dielectric protectant. For line flush cleaning, users can attach the connector to the transmission feed line and the hose to a transmission return line, allowing the flush and residue to collect in a waste container. After flushing until clear, it is recommended to use the entire content of the can per installation and then continue cleaning with air only by turning the can upside down.

As a wire harness cleaner, the hose can be cut to an appropriate length to direct the stream, and it can be sprayed over dirty depowered 6-12 volt electrical components. For use as a dielectric protectant, cleaned components should be allowed to dry before repowering, as Kooler Kleen will not leave behind water or soapy residue to contaminate the transmission. It also effectively removes grease, dirt, sludge, grime, and metal shavings without harming seals or degrading new automatic transmission fluid.
